I own a HDR TV, and have run the game with and without HDR, it's decent in both, at least I have no overexposure issue.
I know that some TV setting simulate HDR when the source doesn't run it, mine has that possibility but I permanently disable it. Have you tried that ?

Yeah i know what you mean. I never use HDR so i disabled it on my PS5.I can’t disable it on my tv. But strangely enough, the overexposure only occurs with WRC. All the other games i own look great (even better) without HDR and not have the ‘overexposure’ problem. WRC is still playable but all the white’s are way too white.
