Hi EA/Codemasters.
Hope your team can find the cause of the problem soon, I can cooperate with you to do testing. I love this game, but it's very frustrating when you lose all your work and progress. However, any help from you would be nice. Corrupted save appears randomly and it is difficult to find what is causing it. As I wrote above, restarting the route, changing options during the game or quit the championship may cause a message to appear. I never finished my own championship consisting of 16 countries and 12 stages, because after a few rounds (this time after the seventh country) I receive a message about a corrupted save. I think this happens when autosave starts. Sometimes something goes wrong and the save file becomes permanently corrupted. For now, this only happens in quick play solo mode, where I play most often with my championship template and own livery. I've never had a problem in clubs or multiplayer mode. I suspect something with the synchronization or the method of saving data. This is the only game where the save file gets corrupted. The strange thing is that after deleting all save files from the WRC folder in my documents, when I turn on the game, the data is restored. Maybe I should back up all my files every few days and restore them if they get corrupted? Or it requires a thorough analysis by you and possibly changing the way you save files so as not to lose any work and progress? Looking for the reason, I found the F1 23 forum where people also had problems with file corruption. Maybe this problem is global, some identical bug in the application causing data corruption. During this time, there was no failure in my internet or electricity connection.

Today 22.01.2024 i created again championschip template with 16 countries and 12 track. I rode 5 countries without any problem. In 6 country (Sardegna) i wanted to leave championship in mid stage. I clicked Quit, then a window with the save selection appeared, and after cklick save I received my favorite message in the game again

This time I didn't click retry but I selected cancel and moved on to the next route. Then I changed something in the menu settings, I got out of the championship and when window with the save selection appeared I managed to save the game. I then checked whether my test livery remained in the editor or whether it was cleared as before. IT WORKED!!!!! My livery is still visible and championship templates have not disappeared.

However, this is a serious bug and should be prioritized and resolved in future updates. Next time if this error appears, I will try not to click retry again (just cancel). We'll see if this option also works or it was just a lucky coincidence this time.

When the file first became corrupted on new profile 22.01.2024, then I received this message several times a day while playing quick play solo. So far, the method I described above worked and I was able to bypass the problem. Until today. While playing the championship, I was unable to save my progress because a message about a corrupted file kept appearing. I went through the loading screen several times and it was the same every time. So I left the championship without saving, then I went through a few time trials. Luckily, by some miracle, my liveries weren't wiped clean, but I'm not going back to quick play mode until it's definitely fixed. Im play with EA app, PC Win10.
TIP:
1. I also saw that the autosave file does not work from January 21, i.e. it does not update anywhere and the last date is January 21 before the first file corruption message appears (see attach). Maybe the problem lies somewhere in the lack of synchronization between the autosave and save files
2. The first message about file corruption always appears after crossing several countries in the created championship. Then it appears regularly several times a day (when I used the above workaround method). Maybe the problem lies in the size of the championship. I always create 16 countries and 12 stages. There is too many info to save or something.

EA/Codemasters, do you even know about this? I wrote several times, but no one even replied that the problem was known. I am writing here with myself because I want to draw strong attention to this and document all my observations. I hope this makes it somewhat easier to find this error. So far it only appears in quick play solo mode and I haven't noticed it anywhere else
