Open Event Viewer and go to administrative events.
Launch EA WRC and see if you get the same errors as I do out of interest.
I only started using Event Viewer to try find out what's wrong here, have the same messages also back when it was working so not sure if this is the reason.
ERROR: The description for Event ID 1 from source Application cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
EAAntiCheatService
Failed to obtain Origin directory
The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table
WARNING: The backing-file for the real-time session "Mgr" has reached its maximum size. As a result, new events will not be logged to this session until space becomes available. This error is often caused by starting a trace session in real-time mode without having any real-time consumers.

Hi there rubicon, sorry for answering so late. Yes, i have exact the same errors and messages in the Event Viewer. The problem is still here, no patch, no answers, no nothing. Not been able to play the game for a lot of days now. Frustrating, since i have 220 hours in the game without any problems until now. I hope anyone at EA reads these messages / issues, because i don't know another way to alert them.

Same problem here. It was working, but after a hiatus from this game it will not launch. Renaming the OpenXR folder within the WRC install folder allows the game to launch, but with no VR. Since I play VR, this still sucks for me. Please EA, do something! Surely seems like its an issue with OpenXR but I don't have the technical background to know.
