It's such a well-documented problem of DX12 Unreal games at this point, together with traversal stutters (which I suspect is also happening)
@nunaronas- I feel the same.
I play a lot of PC games and I mean a lot and the one thing that stands out to me is just how many poorly optimised games we seem to get these days, particularly Unreal Engine 4 ones running on DX12. This engine is old now and hasn't been updated by Epic for over a year, I believe, but it should be at the point where it runs great on modern PC hardware like Unreal Engine 3 did before it was superseded.
If anything, Unreal Engine 4 games have got worse with the switch from DX11 to DX12. At this point, any developer making games for Unreal Engine 4 will certainly be aware of the need to compile shaders on PC and the traversal stutter issues. If they aren't then they should not be making games for PC. Yet we still keep seeing games being released in a poor state from major publishers (this is EA's second this year after Jedi Survivor).
Why do they keep doing this? It's like quality control does not exist for the PC version!
