Wanted to add that updating GPU drivers (new nvidia drivers came out today, Nov 14th), introduced a lot more stuttering when playing stages again. I've seen multiple mentions of this behavior already from others after they updated their video card drivers, but just confirming it once more on my own PC. This shows that shaders are still being cached on the fly in WRC, as driver updates wipe out the driver cache and has to build them anew if a shader pre-compilation doesn't do the work in advance when the game is loaded.
This doesn't necessarily mean that the pre-compilation from the patch isn't working at all, PSO may actually be in there and partly functional but not covering absolutely all shaders that should get cached up front to prevent stuttering. A Hi-Fi RUSH developer talked about this when doing an interview about the lack of shader stutter in their game earlier this year (also a DX12+UE4 combo).
We can at least say this feature is not fully functional in WRC after experiencing results like this.

Not really news, but there still must be an absurd amount of shaders that aren't getting pre-compiled.
Everyone will experience on the fly shader cache stutters in WRC when they update their GPU drivers, this is still true after patch 1.3.0 on November 16th.
You have to include every single shader in the game to eliminate this once and for all. Not just some of them. All of them.
If Hi-Fi Rush and Lies of P can do it, you can too. Both games prove it's not impossible, even in the dreaded UE4+DX12 combo.

@pyide_maybeI can confirm on my end that the shader precomp is still not working properly or at least not caching enough shaders.
I installed the latest Nvidia drivers (thus clearing the shader cache) alongside the update last night, and the shader stutters came back.
It does seem somewhat better than the day zero release – the stutters start to ease at a faster pace than they did at launch, suggesting at least some shaders are being precompiled – but it's still very frustrating. - 2 years ago

Does it feel a little bit like E.A. are spending all their time fixing console issues and haven't even began looking at PC issues yet?
I don't know why but it seems the PC community is hated by devs in general. Its the same story every bloody time! Ive been gaming for around 35 yrs and I can tell you the gaming industry is a shadow of its former self.
It is now just a monopoly of greedy, soulless shareholders and execs who only care about the new God (money money). They hardly even make games for the sake of making a great interactive piece of entertainment. Its all gotta be full of the current socially accepted b.s. woke crapola! Whatever happened to creating something for the sake of the art itself? Not to please friggin minority groups and slack arse losers who cant pull their fingers outta their own buttholes.
Yeah so hurry up with the pc fixes Chodies cause you charged me full price for a broken product. In my country (Australia) you can go to jail for a long time for fraud!
