Unable to connect - what am I missing?

Question

I was happy to see my wheel Hori FFB Dlx was supported just recently so bought game.

I get this expired password dialog starting game, so I entered the url on a pc and changed that.

- but I still get this message

- i have now turned off to login to EA at startup though

Looking at help it mention Xbox Live account or EA Play account and stuff, but this is for online play I assume.

- I don't have either on Xbox

What am I missing not getting into this?

I do not care about online play, but would be nice to see global leaderboards like I can on FM7 rivals etc.

My Xbox profile is linked to something *****disabled.ea.com, so seems Xbox is linked, and refuse to link again.

Is this needed if just doing offline racing againt AI?

Just a bit confused if somebody can clear this out how it works,

Since new password was not entered from my Xbox, but my PC, how is this synced to my Xbox so game can login later????

I used another gamertag on Xbox, not been used on EA before, and created a new EA account and everything is entered from Xbox.

Then I could do timetrial that needs to upload data as I discovered.

So how can you enter a mode to enter a new EA password from Xbox?

You just get this popup with QR code, which I did not use, but url from a PC instead.

I find no way for Xbox to enter a new password or refer to another EA account or anything.

Since I cannot create a new ticket on my EA account, for some reason, there is no way forwarrd it seems.
