I had the same issue but found a solution. The TH8A needs to be plugged into the DIN input on the T300 base. If the sequential TH8A plate is on the shifter it will only pick up the shifter as a paddle shift so you can’t bind this as a handbrake. You need to swap the sequential plate for the H pattern plate. Once this is done your TH8A is now recognised as a H pattern gearstick. Go into bindings and unbind 4th gear. Go to handbrake and bind Handbrake as 4th gear. So now when you pull down on 4th you have a handbrake. You then need a pull cord or alastic band to allow the stick to pop out of 4th once pulled. If you don’t do this the stick will stay in 4th in other words handbrake will stay on unless put back in the neutral position. Also cover up the 3rd gear slot to stop the pull code pushing the stick into 3rd

Many gamers don't buy ea WRC because this issue.
