Apex Legends Account Progress Lost

Hello EA Support Team,

I am reporting an issue with my Apex Legends account where all of my progress has been reset.

I play on PC and have spent 200+ hours in the game. Around 5 months ago, I noticed that all my unlocked legends, skins, and earned items were missing. Since then, my progress has not been restored despite regular logins.

Account details:

Platform: PC

EA ID: Kirito13a

Approximate playtime: 200+ hours

Issue noticed: Around 5 months ago

I kindly request that this issue be investigated and my missing progress restored if possible. Please let me know if any additional information is required.

    Hey Kirito13a​,

    Do you have any other emails or EA accounts you may have used in the past? 

    It looks like the account you're posting with was created only recently, so if you'd played Apex 5+ months ago that would have been on a different account. Progress cannot be transferred between different accounts, so as long as you're able to locate whichever account was used earlier you should be able to regain access to that progress.

    If you don't recall or no longer have access to a particular account, it would be worth contacting support directly so they can help try to locate and update the account as needed.

    I play Apex Legends exclusively through Steam. Even after following all troubleshooting steps, the game always opens as a Level 1 account with no previous progress.

    I believe my Steam account may be linked to a newly created EA account instead of the original EA account that had my Apex Legends progress (200+ hours). I did not intentionally create a new EA account, but Apex consistently launches a fresh profile.

    I am unable to locate or recall the original EA account details and would appreciate your help in identifying it using my Steam account information and past Apex Legends activity.

    Please let me know what verification details are required so that my Steam account can be correctly linked to the original EA account and my progress restored.

    And I have tried contacting support 2 or 3 times but they are not able to resolve my problem , They said to post on forum  as it can get solved here.

    I used to play from Steam account and I have tried many times to log in but it always opens a Level 1 account.

    Hey Kirito13a​,

    If you were directed to the forums, what we're able to assist with in these situations would be feedback or clarification. I'm afraid we cannot assist with any account changes or discuss account details here, as these are publicly visible boards. 

    From what you've mentioned, it sounds like this is due to unlinking a platform (Steam) and linking it to a different EA account. 

    Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. If you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress and it will appear to have reset, which is what's happened here. Progress cannot be moved between different accounts.

    If this is the same Steam account you had used in the past, it is now linked to a different EA account. That's why you're not seeing any progress - it's still back on whichever EA account was used originally. 

    This can cause the progress to be permanently lost in some cases, but you may be able to recover that progress by re-linking your Steam to whichever EA account you had used in the past rather than this new one. If you're not certain which EA account that was, this is where our support team may be able to help verify and update the login details and connected platforms for that older account.
