Character Access Removed (Axle)

It was explicitly stated that the rewards for completing the challenges was an Axle Thematic Pack, and not mentioned anywhere (that I'm aware of, please let me know if you're seeing otherwise) that Axle herself would be unlocked.

Please see the attached image from the earlier post. This would be the information available directly in-game on the challenges themselves, stating what would be received on completion.

I did all the challenges too, thinking it would unlock Axle only to discover that she is now locked again after the Update. In that time I bought another Legend with my Tokens, so you expect me to wait again until I can actually buy Axle. Axle became my favourite and I wanted to main her because I am tbh not the best at the game. Very disappointed for the lack of information there

EA_Mako​ Given that you acknowledge previous legends were unlocked via similar challenges, why was it not explicitly stated that the challenges did not unlock the character upon completion?

I could be wrong, but I don't think it was possible to permanently unlock the character during the time when Axle was available to play for all people, further implying that the completion of challenges would unlock the character.

I can definitely understand the confusion here given similar challenges in the past unlocked other legends, however that was not the case with Axle.

Completing these challenges awarded an Axle Thematic Pack, not the character unlock. She was available to play for free during this period which may also have accounted for some of the confusion, but would need to be unlocked normally after that point to continue playing her.

Sorry for any disappointment here, hope this helps clarify the situation further.

Same issue for me as well, game's going down the gutter they can't even give people the rewards they grind for. Not only in this situation but recently with the Heirloom shards and horizon skin. I'm sure there are more examples these are just the most recent that have effected me personally.

I literally came here to say the same thing for console. I put honestly a lil too much effort into unlocking the character and played her solely for that purpose and now I have to use tokens to get her🤣 this game should focus less on constantly pushing out newer cosmetics that aren't even good and more on fixing the issues that jip all of their players out of hard earned rewards. Not only with this but with th heirloom shards and other examples I'm not thinking of atm. Why play the game when what you work hard for is never given and you need to be "compensated" every time you earn something because it's bugged?

I played during the axle free trial event, and during the event I decided I liked her so much I decided to fully buy her during the event for the 12k legend tokens, but now that the event was over, she is again locked and now I am out 12k tokens for nothing.

it it not just one person. this is happening to literally everybody who has done these quests please fix this EA
