Integrity error 0x8000001 (and a solution i found

Hi, I had a problem with integrety error 0x8000001 for a while, where i saw my cpu spiked right before I i got the error message.

What were you doing leading up to the issue?
 Launching the game per usual, then ~5 min in game startes to freeze, task manager shows cpu spiking to 100% and then error message

Can you reproduce it? What are the steps? 
Every time i launched the game this happend, for weeks until solution I found myself (see here). This is not a good long term solution tho, so hopefully this can be looked more into. 

PC players - provide hardware specs, OS version and GPU driver version.

Before my fix I attemted updating every driver, including BIOS, veryfing steam files, tried with EA Launcher, tried removing and reinstalling EAC. Nothing worked.

Additionally a friend with a brand new pc had a similar problem where my solution also worked.
