Random Rank Drop

Okay I've been really trying to get to a gold rank and the last time I played I was half way to Silver I. Now I just open the game today and all of a sudden I reverted back to a Silver IV. This is a really frustrating. I think this is not the first time something like this has happened but I thought I was just tripping it first now I know for sure. What's up with this is this a bug or something? Can it be fixed?
