Severe microstutter and hard freezes only in Apex Legends (PC)
Apex Legends is the only game on my PC that consistently experiences microstutter and occasional hard freezes or crashes.
All other games run normally with no performance or stability issues.
Troubleshooting already completed:
- Verified game files
- Reset Apex local configuration
- Cleared DirectX shader cache
- Reinstalled GPU drivers
- Forced Apex to use dedicated NVIDIA GPU
- Removed all launch options
- Tested lower mouse polling rates
Apex has also hung at "Stopping" in Steam and required a full system reboot.
This appears to be an Apex-specific issue rather than a general hardware problem.
