Since the last EAC update in September I have been unable to play due to issues with my Thunderbolt Audio Interface. I have a Presonus Quantum 2626 that I have been using for 4 years and never had an...
So happy to find this post! YES! This EXACT same thing is happening to me with almost all the exact same troubleshooting steps taken. I'm on a Universal Audio Arrow over Thunderbolt, and I get a Code -38crash almost exactly 1 minute after loading the game at the menu screen.
Steps taken
--Mobo is a z790 Creator Wifi w/ 14700K (no overclock) --Full fresh Windows 11 format installation --Latest drivers --Latest BIOS --Tried 5 different versions of audio drivers from Universal Audio, ones that traditionally worked for years too. --ASPM and PCIe management turned off (recommend in UA forum, doesn't fix) --New thunderbolt cable --Tried different Thunderbolt jack --Even in a different audio source is chosen as the primary source, the game will still crash. I must disable my Thunderbolt Audio Source in Device Manager to keep Apex Legends from causing the issue below.
Things to note
--I have played this game for years on my current setup with no issues --Only in the last month or so has this issue started, a crippling error that makes the game unplayable --This is the ONLY game this happens to for me. All my games and system run 100% perfect otherwise.
