Battlefield 6 – Unable to Launch Single Player Campaign After Latest Update
Platform: PC (Steam)
Operating System: Windows 10
GPU Drivers: Up to date (latest version installed)
Description:
After the most recent Battlefield 6 update (October 28, 2025), the single-player campaign mode can no longer be launched. When I try to start the campaign, a “connection failed” message appears, and the game stuck there until connection timeout.
Short video for you to refer:
Steps to Reproduce:
Launch the game via Steam.
Select Single Player Campaign from the main menu.
Wait for the loading screen.
The game displays a Connection Failed error message when try to access to the campaign.
PVP mode got no problem, I believe internet connection is not the issue.
Expected Result:
The campaign mode should start normally without requiring any online connection or should connect successfully if needed.
Actual Result:
The game fails to connect and cannot load the single-player campaign at all.
Troubleshooting Attempted:
Verified game files on Steam
Updated GPU drivers (latest version)
Restarted the game and PC
Disabled background apps and antivirus
No improvement observed
Request:
Please investigate and fix the issue preventing access to the single-player campaign after the latest update.
Additional Notes:
The issue started immediately after the latest patch and affects the campaign mode only — multiplayer works fine.
