Invisible Weapon, missing textures, missing sounds

I've been having two recurring issues: When I load into a game, half the time I'm missing my gun texture, and other textures haven't loaded in correctly. I can shoot and aiming down sights just zoo...

i Get this issue on Portal all the time. A Few rounds are Great but than it appears. I can only fix it by leaving the game and join it again .. but i need to use ALT F4 because the Quit Button Doesnt work. The normal game works fine its really just Portal.. whats annoying because Portal is really nice.
