RedSec Second Chance Bug: I Won Without Existing

If anyone else experiences this bug, please reply and hit Up-Vote so the dev team notices it faster.

I just wanted to add what happened since the original post. I continued playing RedSec Duos and the exact same bug occurred again. After I was eliminated, my camera stayed stuck at the location where I died. I couldn’t move or spectate, but the match continued normally in the background.

I stayed frozen until the match ended, and I was once again awarded the win while being stuck. So this is reproducible and not just a one-off glitch. I currently have multiple screenshots showing the camera lock and the victory screen while unable to play.

I’m NOT sharing how to trigger it publicly because it could easily be abused to get free wins and ruin matches for others. I just want to report it properly so it can be fixed. If a CM or QA wants more details, I can provide them privately.

Hello, I downloaded Battlefield Red Sec yesterday and entered the game. I run the game with medium graphics with dlss quality and frame generation off. The game ran at 120~144 fps, but when I turn on frame generation, the fps really goes up, but there is a problem, it seems like the fps are generated with a delay, fps is 240 but it seems like I am seeing 40~50 frames and the screen is static. When I turn off frame generation, I don't have these problems. Why? It is possible to solve this problem by updating. The GPU driver is the latest update (R7 7735HS RTX 4050 6G 16G DDR)

Just doing research and found this. First thank you for keeping it a secret and trying to get it fixed. 

So my experience was a little different. I played duos with a buddy and we were nearing the end. We eliminated a squad and it said one squad left. We read the map and used explosives in certain areas to flush them out. Nothing. The final circle looked odd as it wasn't uniform. There were pockets sort of but we stood together in the center. It closed around us and said the other team died just as the fire reached us. Then we got the win. Odd.

My theory now is someone had your glitch but left last second to give us the win maybe? 

So just had it happen to me. My buddy was dead, I was later killed and I stayed laying down. I could hear breathing, still had options to armor up and a few other items. It was also done in duos Redsec.

We had this happening to us on Friday where we placed 3rd and spectated the final 1v1, but there was nobody else but the guys that killed us. They didn't win and there was no one else to be seen.

Yesterday(Sunday) we had this happen in quads to us as you described, it has something to do with redeployments and redeployments closing. We had that "Feed Loading 5... 4... 3... 2... 1..." can't remember what it actually says but anyway, then just a screen in flames where we died, couldn't move or do anything except open map to look at the zone. We decided to wait to see if this is what happened on friday and it was exactly same thing, there was 2 teams left and the team that placed 2nd burned to death and we got 1st place. 

Also there apparently is a bug where you can glitch vehicles under the map and survive there? Don't know more about it just read in reddit that tanks apparently can get under the map and just stay there till the game ends?

Just had the exact same bug happen to me after my teammate left. Can reproduce, will leave before match ends to not cheese others. Please fix!!!

It's a known bug atm. I just quit the game not to ruin other ppl experience.

Same thing just happened to my buddy and I. I died under the bridge south of Nexus and he was floating in the air after being redeployed, then we both got the same "stucked" screen, except he was 1000ft in the air and I was looking at where I died. Seeing as we never experienced this, we wanted to see if it did let us "outlast" the last team, and we did. Got the victory. Very weird indeed.

This just happened to me. We queued as a duo right after our defeat in last game. My friend got in to the next match normally, but I was invicible in the chopper and finally "spawned" at the location I died in the last match, but couldn't move or do anything.
