I'm also on Win 10 and having this problem since last BF6 update and also last windows update so it might help going to Win 11 but it's kinda stupid to force people out of their systems and breaking the games like that. We're talking about all Battlefields with anticheat on. I might go to win 11 soon.
Seems a silly argument. People always need to upgrade to the next thing at some point, if they want to play newer games regularly. You can't complain that GTA 5 won't play on your commodore 64, and it's not cool that they "force" you to upgrade just to play the game. Security updates alone is more than enough of a good reason to update regularly. Nobody is going to support an OS that has an ever shrinking user base, that will stop receiving updates. The bugs will just snowball and be completely not worth fixing, as they'll need to divert developer attention from modern improvements, to trying to support legacy setups. Not a super great business plan, unless you're counting on most of your players being on antiquated setups.
