the AI’s pace in wet conditions on the wet tyres is far too quick and it’s impossible to keep up with them. Even changing to inters and doing faster lap times the AI are still going quicker on worn wet tyres. It’s almost like they have unlimited traction

completely agree, had the exact same experience in the wet. literally impossible to drive in full wet conditions. The rear is all over the place while the AI is just rocketing away in every turn.

How is it possible that a game with continuity is released with these errors?
First, the circuits don't look like it's raining, but it's impossible to control the car. Is it invisible rain? You can't even see that the asphalt is wet...
The worst thing is trying to race against the AI in career mode or my team when it rains. It's impossible to catch them. The stability control completely slows the car down on the corners. And of course, it's impossible to play without the TC because the car slides like ice.
Please fix this as soon as possible. We spent a lot of money and it seems like we're the beta testers. We received a product riddled with errors.
Also, there's no way to force it not to rain, so right now there's not even a temporary solution.

I agree. I had a race in Spain where I was 1.6 seconds a lap slower than my teammate

Agree with this, only done a wet race in Japan in MyTeam so expected the car to lack downforce, but I cannot get any grip especially on traction (without TCS) and on fast corners. I had to retire as I just couldn't keep any pace, where as in the Dry I was racing and keeping up with positions 11-16 consistently (100 AI)

Clearly evident here. I managed to hold leclerc behind until lap 6 and then he was 2 seconds a lap faster as soon as it went dry the lap times are pretty equal

Yes - I’ve experienced this on single player career mode on China when the track is wet. Feels like you’re racing on Ice! 0 grip at all. And when the track is visibly dry and the engineer says to put you on slicks , you’re still sliding round on the track

The real problem is that the AI is too slow in dry conditions. I can beat it without any setup at 110 difficulty, and even with a margin, while in the wet it’s almost two seconds faster than me. I think the wet difficulty is well balanced. Racing at 110 in the wet can be a good challenge for pro players. The point is that the dry difficulty needs to be increased by at least a second, or even a second and a half, to match the level of challenge in the wet. And let’s not even talk about Monaco, where at 110 the AI is almost two seconds slower than me in dry conditions without a setup. This is a very serious issue and discourages me from starting a career mode — it needs to be fixed immediately.

Monaco I was 110 AI, I have no assists and was 1.9s faster in qualifying. To me it looks like the AI don't use much kerbs but also were just generally slow.

100% agree!

I match my teammate in the dry with AI set to 101. But in wet conditions their traction out of corners is mental. I lost 1.5sec a lap to my teammate.
In F1 24 the AI level comparison from Dry to Wet was spot on.
I use Elite assists.
On PS5.
