the AI’s pace in wet conditions on the wet tyres is far too quick and it’s impossible to keep up with them. Even changing to inters and doing faster lap times the AI are still going quicker on worn wet tyres. It’s almost like they have unlimited traction

No one is looking into this its been a week since its been reported. Seriously. The AI is insane on wets and doing 210mph on straights on WETS. And in the dry track they are going so fast on straights and passing so easily, you guys who are playing at 110 dont see this? What are you playing it on? PC its like they're overtaking at 250mph.

Hey there,
Thank you for your reports. I have escalated this to the game team for investigation.
Can you add some report codes here to pass along?

But please keep in mind that the real issue lies in the imbalance of the AI's performance between dry and wet conditions. Specifically, the AI becomes excessively fast in the wet compared to the difficulty level set for the dry. It's often the case that, at difficulty 110, one can compete quite easily on a dry track, only to be completely outpaced by the very same AI in wet conditions — sometimes by more than a second and a half per lap.
This imbalance should not be addressed by simply lowering the difficulty when it rains, but rather by increasing the AI's performance on dry tracks — which is currently too forgiving — in order to create a more consistent and realistic challenge across varying weather conditions. Only then can the difficulty curve feel natural, without abrupt shifts in AI behavior.
I’d also like to stress that this feedback is not the result of a personal struggle with wet conditions, but rather stems from an objective and measurable discrepancy in the AI’s lap times and performance.
So, if the AI is too difficult in the wet, an equally serious issue is that it's far too easy in the dry — even at the maximum difficulty of 110. To give a concrete example: at Monaco, I’m able to outqualify the AI by about two seconds, whereas a pro driver would gain three to four seconds, which is simply unrealistic.
I want to stress once again that the solution is not to lower the difficulty in wet conditions, but rather to increase the AI’s performance in the dry, as it is currently underpowered even at the highest setting.

I don't agree that it's just the AI's difficulty imbalance.
The fact that cars do not have traction and that they slip like ice is also a problem, that the traction control excessively reduces the speed when cornering is also a problem.
It's not that the AI goes fast, it's that you can't because the car doesn't have traction even with active aids, since with aids it slows down excessively.
I think the rain control problem should be reviewed before.

Let’s start with a premise: the current difficulty in wet conditions at level 110 offers a solid and engaging challenge for high-level drivers — for example, someone competing in PSGL F2 on PC. I can say this confidently based on firsthand experience.
So, the difficulty level in the wet at 110 is generally well balanced. The issue arises when compared to dry conditions: if you’re losing around a second per lap in the wet at 110, in the dry — at the same difficulty — you often find yourself faster than the AI.
This imbalance leads to two main problems:
The difficulty is inconsistent across weather conditions, which penalizes those looking for a uniform racing experience.
Players seeking a fair challenge in the dry are forced to raise the difficulty, which then makes wet conditions overly punishing.
Here’s a practical example: suppose that in order to have a challenging but manageable race in the wet — without overdriving or going beyond your natural limits, and while keeping a stable, clean line — you set the difficulty to 80. In a well-balanced game, you should be able to race in the dry at the same level (80) and get a similar challenge. Instead, due to the current imbalance, you're probably running at 90 in the dry to get the same intensity.
The solution is simple: improve the balance between dry and wet conditions so that the level of challenge is consistent across both, at the same AI level. This would offer a more realistic and satisfying experience for all players.
However, it’s crucial to note that this balancing should not be achieved by lowering the difficulty in the wet. While that would technically create balance, it would disappoint players who already find the AI too easy in the dry, even at 110. The preferable solution is to improve the AI's performance in dry conditions, so that the challenge becomes consistent without diminishing the quality of the wet-weather experience.

As I said, I don't see it the same way you do.
In dry conditions, I play at 100 difficulty, with a steering wheel and no assistance, and I can steer the car without any problems and be competitive (I'm not a pro).
I don't want to think about the people who play with a controller. In the rain, it's impossible to steer the car safely; it feels like you're driving on ice. If I use assistance, the car brakes on every corner, making it impossible to keep up with the race pace.
I still think the handling in the rain needs to be reviewed before the AI adjustments.
Not everyone who buys this game is a pro, nor do they claim to be; some of us just want to have fun playing and these types of problems prevent that from happening.

So this gets investigated but the ai having too much straight line speed in dry at any wing or difficulty setting gets ignored what a joke

Couldnt agree more. Just done Japan Career mode and i was 5th on the grid on 109AI, took it down to 107AI for the race as i knew about some wet weather issues and the race was wet and the AI were miles clear. I finished 1min+ behind the race winner. Look at the tyre temp difference

The people who use the TC have most part of this troubles. I believe the guys with wheels have this problem too, because the AI have a super grip and super ERS battery, so in wet conditions i need to decrease the difficulty in 5 points to be "playable"
