F1 World car gets slower the higher the tech level

This is extremely frustrating.

I am attempting 1-5 F1 World Invitational events a day and the problem is still there in all of the races, no matter the event "difficulty/tech level".
In just about all races I can have a banger start and move up from around P11-P16 to like P5 or higher on the first half of lap 1, after that I get absolutely smashed by the AI and other human players who dont get this super nerf to their cars. Most of this is probably because the AI on the first lap is bunched up in a line and easier to overtake. But after about half a lap to a lap its IMPOSSIBLE to overtake anyone.

Please fix this problem cause whats supposed to be an entertaining and fun part of the game, is just a horrible and sad experience. 

I also get slower and slower the higher I get. I can't even overtake a car at 200 and I'm now at over 700. It's so funny. Game of the year. This is the worst game I've played so far. Full of bugs, like a cheese full of holes. The absolute top hit. You come home from work, want to play something relaxed and what you bought doesn't work as it should. Something like this should be shown on TV under the category of a product that the world doesn't need. Joke of the century

I've just finished testing the game, and unfortunately, both my brother and I have to confirm what the other user Phoenix90_TTV​  reported: the game is still broken. I reiterate my request: please fix the game.

I was hoping that with the update, even if it wasn't mentioned, things might improve. I'll test it in a bit, but now that I've read your post, I already feel frustrated before even starting to play. Please fix the game, because like this, you've completely ruined F1 World.

Current car after patch v1.06 released on 07.07.25. 

The car is still 3-5 seconds PER LAP slower than the AI and human players in Invitational events, literally forcing me to either finish last or DNF due to demotivation.

Please fix this problem soon.

litchlol​ Great job to reach out to more people on different platforms. 

Hopefully this problem can get more attention and get fixed soon.

please share these links around, so we can get as much awareness as possible for the issue, as currently its pretty much impossible to carry on past 900 atm.

Noticed same problem, in career mode or with equal perforamnce turned on, i'm 2-3 seconds on average quicker than my friend, my tech level is at 850, meanwhile my friends is at 650, hes much faster than me in invitational lobbies, like 5 seconds a lap faster than me now.

Game is getting boring due to this, the more time i put into it, the less positions i get, considering this is an entire game mode, this needs looking into and fixing asap.

i think its a scaling issue, ie if your above the tech level, you get scaled down too much, meanwhile if your below said tech level, it scales you up too much, thus making slower cars much quicker than faster ones.

EA_Groguet​ - Now that another user has also encountered this issue, is there no way to report it to a technical department or team for investigation?

My brother and I now have invitational cards just sitting there because we can't play them, knowing that unless someone without issues joins, we won't get any rewards.

We spend many full minutes stuck in the lobby, cycling through, hoping someone plays cards below tech level 300 so we can get some rewards, even though we have our own cards.

Please, report this problem to the appropriate people.

First and last race of today.... This is ridiculous now!!!

Its so bad I need 2 pictures from the same race....

With my Tech level 1000, I cant even get within 2 seconds PER LAP of THE AI at ~450 tech level event.  Some people can fly away at ridiculous pace, while others are locked with very slow car performance and even the AI laps us by 1-2 second every lap.

Tech level event: 450

Tech level on car: 1000 (but "balanced" to 450)

Please consider looking into this as its extremely frustrating to race like this.
