Fix the AI in wet conditions for once and for all

Race a single time against AI in wet conditions and tell the people that it is all ok. You should be ashamed, its been 4 months since game went out and it remains impossible to have a normal dry/eet gameplay. Such a basic thing!!!

If you aren't capable of fixing it or you just dont want to, at least let people disable rain in their carrer modes. Its absolutely disgusting, im really done playing this.

  • And the complaints are still coming. What infuriates me is the silence. The game in career mode is beyond broken like this.

They said "AI changes are complexed" well Codemasters and EA here's a tip, make it work in the first place by actually testing your game internally instead of releasing it in such a rubbish state in the first place for £90.

How on earth can you play a successful career mode if the AI are over and above a second a lap faster in the wet?

The game should never have been released this way. Not good enough 👎

  • I just drove at Silverstone, 0.060 seconds behind pole in the dry qualifying, and 2 seconds slower in the very wet race.

The AI drives like it's on rails, no sliding, no oversteer. Infinite traction out of slow corners.

It's fun to drive in the wet, but not with the AI.

Yes Mateo, you are indeed correct, and I am ashamed to have posted that. Please accept my sincere apologies.

Last week I thought that this issue wasn't an issue as I held off the (AI) pack for 12 laps to win a full distance GP at China. I stand corrected.

Further experience with racing in the wet has revealed that I was merely a roadblock in China.

In more recent wet condition races, once the AI overtook me in the wet, they bolted ahead and were uncatchable. Totally unrealistic, and it ruins all the hard work of positioning oneself well in a full distance race in dry conditions, to be totally obliterated by the AI when the weather conditions change to rain.

  • EA LISTEN TO US! This is the biggest problem and no one is putting efforts onto this. If you are, just let us know what are you working on to solve this!

They don't give us answers. Almost three months after release and we don't have a decent game.

According to the latest patch notes v1.11 the wet weather issue and straight line speed (acceleration out of corners) will be addressed around mid September.

It's probably another 4 weeks or so to wait, but at least it's going to be resolved once and for all.

Hopefully resolved once and for all. But I am hopeful and happy that they didn’t give up on it.

Thank you Once and For All guy! Hopefully your effort has pushed them to get this corrected once and for all!
