The ffb of my Fanatec wheel feels spongy after v1.25 update. Is that on purpose?

I’m having the same issue on a Logitech G923. This started immediately after the 1.25 update. The FFB feels lighter, softer and less responsive, especially around the center and in fast chicanes. The left-right load transfer through the wheel is much weaker than before. Please investigate this, as the wheel felt much better on 1.24.

Same with a Thrustmaster T598. Also no brake feeling. This is the worst game update I've ever seen.
Ffb stuffed and eng management moved even further away from real life. Dumbed down for casual drivers.
So many in my league no longer drive F1 let alone join in the races. They've had enough moving to other games.

I’ve encountered the same issue as you, and I also use a Fanatec wheelbase. The steering goes completely limp, as if the damping effect is missing.
I experienced a similar problem with the DualSense Edge four months ago (loss of haptic feedback), and now I’m losing force feedback on the steering wheel.
Also, I think you might be reporting the issue incorrectly: https://forums.ea.com/blog/f1-games-game-info-hub-en/f1%C2%AE-25-2026-season-pack--how-to-report-a-bug/12211551

Same problem here, with GT DD pro 8nm, if i dont restart my base between every session the fbb is broken, it was pretty poor with the recommended settings, now it turned to absolute disaster...

Same problem Here with my r9. I loved the previous FFB and now the game is unplayable. I have no feeling in the car at all.

It's also significantly worse with my Moza R5. It feels completely numb, just like driving a Dacia.

The game's force feedback was already poor—very weak and lacking in detail—to begin with. It was also hard to find a good, balanced setup that didn't suffer from excessive clipping.
But since the last patch, it’s been terrible; it feels like driving a road car with power steering—you feel absolutely nothing, and I have no idea what settings to use.
I have the T598 with the SF1000 on PS5.

I run the same setup. Now there's no feeling mid corner at all, very soft on entry. Also no brake feeling.
Find all feeling gets worst as race goes on. At 20% tyre wear it's like driving on ice and doesn't improve after a pitstop.
Lots in my league have stopped racing because of this and the changes in the energy being even further away from reality.

I have the same issue on Fanatec CSL DD. Before seeing your post, I had made my own post with a little more detail. Force feedback on wheel is less detailed after patch 1.25 | EA Forums - 13746020.
EDIT: not sure how this comment got added to this thread. My issue is muddy FFB, NOT violent wheel oscillations. These are two separate issues although they may be caused by the same update to FFB in patch 1.25.
