G923 Wheel – No Force Feedback or TrueForce + Breaks DualSense Haptics (PS5)

I’m using a Logitech G923 on PS5, and while it works perfectly with other racing titles like Assetto Corsa Competizione, in F1 25 (and F1 24) the force feedback and TrueForce fail completely. As soon as I launch the game, the wheel becomes stiff, with no FFB or vibrations in game. I’ve tried every possible fix: unplugging/replugging the wheel, launching with only the DualSense controller, rebooting the system, creating a new user profile, and even reinstalling the game. The most telling symptom is that once the G923 is connected, it also disables haptic feedback on the DualSense controller. This suggests a deeper issue with how F1 25 initializes or routes telemetry data to feedback devices. I did briefly get the G923 to work correctly once after a crash/restart, which reinforces that this is a game-side bug — possibly related to inconsistent initialization or a corrupted internal config. This issue makes the game unplayable with the G923. Please escalate this to the dev team, as it affects a core feature of the game.

Great find! I do have a headset plugged in (Steel series arctis Nova 7p). I tried unplugging the dongle and rebooting, now the wheel works as it should. Thank you so much for sharing! Now let's hope EA gets a fix on this issue.
