Input delay when steering in F1 25 using a gamepad

There is a massive delay in steering compared to F1 2020. When I move the joystick, the car takes 500ms to 1 second to respond to my input. I have just tested with F1 2020, so the gamepad is working fine.

* All assists are disabled
* FFB is disabled

Tested with both steering rates are 100% and 160%.

For more context, when I try to turn, for example, on the high-speed corner, it feels like the game is applying some type of FFB (even though it's disabled) + some type of deadzone, which I cannot disable.

Platform: PC
Controller: PS5 DualSense

You can find the demos for both F1 25 and F1 2020,

F1 25 - Input lag + FFB
F1 2020 - No lag + No FFB

I have used my 5 hours trial for this test, I am planning to buy in case of a fix. I also confirm the issue in not listed under Investigation or Waiting sections.

    Turning off HDR on my ps5 and TV and using in game performance mode plus turning on performance mode in my ps5 settings as helped me with input delay using my controller ive also changed steering rate and steering sensitivity to counter the sharpness in direction change.

    I don't think there's a real fix for it, looks like something related to the game engine steering system. The only was I was kind of able to fix it was by increasing the sensitivity. There's still a delay at sometimes, but it's smaller due to the faster steering speed of the higher sensitivity.

    Yeah, I completely agree. This is also happening on keyboard but it's just so inconsistent, the delay doesn't always happen but in circuits like Suzuka it feels so bad to drive like that

    To be honest, I don't think they will fix that, probably they made the change for the arcade-ish players. I have cancelled my subscription because I am pretty sure EA will ignore our problem with the lack of high precision steering control with a gamepad. I will continue with AC, AC Evo, and Le Mans Ultimate. Have a good day.

    Same issue for me mate, and i play on PC with a XBOX CONTROLLER, hope they gonna fix the pad feeling, as soon as possible.
