Also, I just got rear-ended and had nowhere to go but cut the track, I slowed before safely re-entering and I got a 10s penalty while the other guy got a warning HAHAHA.
Its not broken. It Will get better for every rank. In elite its very competetive.
I dont cheat. Drive completly without assists and are top 30 Elite. As a parent with kids 5 lap race is the only option. And with crossplay its usally at least 10 drivers in a race at 7 pm gmt .
My tips to enjoy ranked multiplayer.
Get an A license.
Practice so you are at least top 10-20% on all tracks in time trial. Save setups.
Go for 1st place only when starting first. If you dont qualify no1 your probably not faster then the drivers in front of you. Drive smart.
In bronze and silver.
Dont defend on bad drivers. Let then pass. They will either crash or take out the cars in front of you. If you crash in qualify start very defensive first lap until all bad drivers have crashed. Dont dnf
In Gold 2/3 and Elite there is not many bad drivers left. Often a collision accually is your own fault or an honest misstake. So keep cool and dont be upset. Let other cars take each other out in rage.
When you see other cars batte for position. Wait for them to make a misstake. Dont get involved!
