Drove the Chinese Gp, the whole race the car is sliding and acceleration out of corners was the worst like the track is wet but the track was dry. When the engineer indicated that rain was coming, the car was "uncontrollable" in slow turns. When drops actually fell, the track remained visually dry.

Same here. Co-Op career at Australia. Wet for Intermediate tires, not a single drop yet the track was slippery. My engineer advised for slick tires, so I did change to softs but no AI did and they finished the race on one set of Intermediates. I got no grip on softs so I never caught up with them and I finished last. We did not have this effect on F1 24. If it was forecasted rain, we at least had some drops, and you could see the mist coming from behind the car.

Nope. That's not fixes. I had this issue today. The track was shown as dry, but it was slippery like it was wet. but only for me. Not for the AI. They were on the wet tyres, and they were fast, like they were on the dry tyres and dry track.
Ran into the same issue in Austria on V1.04 2 days ago, no rain and message about rain in 10-15 minutes but on the next lap invisible rain made the track slippery like driving on ice.
Ai cars only started to get marginally slower when the visible rain started and this and the following surreal Ai pace after the change to inters made me put the game on hold until a proper patch fixes the Ai wet weather pace and this issue. Sad but there is nothing you can do to bypass gamebreaking bugs…
