Really enjoying the game. It's the first proper racing game I've found since buying a Quest 3 that I can use an Xbox controller with and don't fly off the road at the first corner like I would playing Assetto Corsa or some other sim racer.
My specs are Ryzen 7 5700X, RTX 4070 12GB, 32gb ram, using Virtual desktop (have tried Airplay/Steam link as well). Tried wirelessly (900mbps internet speed) and wired.
Tried loads of fixes to get the blurry vision/head wobble sorted. When I turn my head left and right at the start of a race, the screen jerks and stutters. No problem running the game performance-wise, have tried with graphics settings all low and all high, and the game runs well over 90 fps regardless of what graphics or network settings I try.
When I record a gameplay video, everything looks pin-sharp, but in-game, in headset, the cockpit is razor-sharp, but everything in the distance is blurry, like a heat haze or an early 3D photo. When the racing starts, it gets worse.
So I have plenty of oompf and everything other game (VR hover bike, Half Life Alyx, Lone Echo etc) all run as smooth as butter at max graphics.
I've given up spending any more time trying to tweak this and have just accepted what I've got, as its clearly something embedded in the game's code and it's soooo annoying.
This issue feels like just some game setting that EA could easily fix with a patch.
Come on EA, sort this out, please?
