I’m having a similar issue too, it’s awful.
I have a fanatec GT DD pro connected to my gaming PC, with a mclaren v2 wheel.
Lately I’m having this problem: 2-3 times per day, the wheel gets disconnected very briefly. So briefly in fact, that I don’t even notice while driving, but the problem is that the F1 25 game detects the disconnect and proceed to show a “Controller disconnected” screen, ruining my race.
I don’t see anything strange on the wheel itself, I’ve checked the QR 2 connectors, tighten the wheel-side QR too, tried a different USB cable (the original one and third part one), tried a powered USB hub, and changing motherboard USB ports as well.
So I’m out of ideas now, and then I stumbled on this post and realized the game itself might be the issue, and not the hardware?
