Been having this issue, started happening about few days ago.
managed to find ways around it about 3 times in the same save. Cleared tasks that sit in the menu (training plan,scouting update etc) saved game and managed to be able to sim past my continued crashing point.
Unfortunately I’m now completely stuck no matter what I attempt to alter etc. very annoying as this is clearly because of the latest update and the fact EA dgaf about anything not ultimate team aka further revenue. If I had to guess this isn’t going to be patched for quite some time if at all really, these particular saves might be just be write offs lol.
