[Bug Report] FC26 is generating corrupted shader cache files

[Bug Report/workaround] FC26 is generating corrupted shader cache files

It seems that the FC26 is generating corrupt shader cache files, causing performance drops, stuttering and input lag.

Although manually clearing the shader cache folders improves performance temporarily, the corrupted files are rebuilt again.

This suggests that the game may be compiling or storing shaders incorrectly, which affects all GPU vendors (NVIDIA, AMD and Intel).

It is important to investigate the FC26 shader compilation and caching processes, since corrupted caches can severely impact gameplay performance.

Temporary workaround.

Update your GPU driver to latest.

Clear Your GPU Shader Cache

If you're having stuttering, lag, or performance drops, clearing your shader cache can help.
It will be automatically rebuilt when you launch a game again.

🔧 How to do it:

Close your game, any launchers or other 3D apps (Steam, EA App, etc).

Press Win + R → paste each of these paths (depending on your GPU):

🟩 NVIDIA: %LOCALAPPDATA%\NVIDIA\DXCache

🟥 AMD: %LOCALAPPDATA%\AMD\DXCache

🔵 Intel: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Intel\DXCache

⚙️ System-wide (required for all GPUs): %LOCALAPPDATA%\D3DSCache

Delete all files inside those folders.

Restart your PC and test the game.

Take care,
