Can't change league when creating team in manager mode "Create Your Club" (PS5)

I'm trying to create a new team in Manager Mode "Create Your Club" but when I get to the part where you need to select the league, it is stuck on Premier League and you can't change to any other league. Literally the reason I bought this game is so I could create a team and start from EFL League 2 and take them to the Pemier League. This problem has been there ever since one of the new updates about 2 weeks ago. This is a huge fundamental error and it should be addressed ASAP as it was working well before the update. I can see other people have also complained about the same issue.
