I’ve been having the same problem since after Christmas. I bought a new controller and had the same issue. After switching back to my old controller, the same problem still occurred, meaning not the controller problem. I’ve used both controllers to play other games and never had the controller not registering issue. I enabled the side-to-side controller reflecting my controller registration. Every time the bug occurres, the in game controller registration is stuck and the left stick is freeze at the direction my player is running, during this time, no matter which button I click there’s no registration. It often resume after ~10-20 sec.
