EA FC 26 – DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED (0x887A0005) after long play sessions

Hello EA Support,

I am experiencing a recurring crash in EA FC 26 after long play sessions (usually after 3–5 hours).

Error details:

Exception code: 0x887A0005 (DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED)
Faulting module: KERNELBASE.dll
The crash happens without BSOD, without full GPU driver reset, and only affects the game.

System configuration:

CPU: Ryzen 7700
GPU: RTX 3060 (NVIDIA Studio Driver installed)
RAM: DDR5 32GB
OS: Windows 11 (build 26100.7462)
Display: Dual monitor setup, both set to 144Hz
Game mode: Borderless Windowed
Renderer: DX12 (DX11 not available)

What has already been tested:

NVIDIA Studio Driver (clean setup)
BIOS updated to the latest available version
Memory profile adjusted from EXPO 6000 MT/s to 5600 MT/s for stability testing
FPS cap at 141 (driver-level)
G-Sync enabled, V-Sync enabled in NVIDIA Control Panel and disabled in-game
Overlays disabled (NVIDIA, Steam, EA)
Armoury Crate and ASUS background services disabled
HAGS disabled
System integrity checked (SFC / DISM – no errors)
Temperatures, voltages, and hardware stability verified (no WHEA, no nvlddmkm errors)

Observations:

The crash still occurs after long sessions even after BIOS update and reduced memory frequency.
The issue does not correlate with overheating, power limits, or hardware instability.
It does not occur immediately and is not directly tied to Alt+Tab usage.
Other games remain fully stable during long play sessions.
This strongly suggests a DX12 engine or memory/command queue leak that accumulates over time.

Please let me know if this issue is already known internally or if additional diagnostic logs would help.
I am happy to provide crash dumps or further testing if needed.

Thank you.
