📌 EA SPORTS FC 26 – PC Bug Report
Platform: PC (Windows 11) Game Version: EA SPORTS FC 26 (PC) Launcher: EA App GPU: NVIDIA (latest drivers installed) Account Type Tested: Microsoft account + New local Windows account --- ❗ Issue Summary EA SPORTS FC 26 on PC is not creating its settings/configuration folder, does not save graphics settings, and automatically changes graphics settings on its own, making the game unplayable. --- 🧩 Detailed Issues 1. No FC26 folder is created in Documents Path checked: C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\ No “EA SPORTS FC 26” folder is created even after: Fresh install Launching game Reaching main menu Exiting properly 2. Graphics settings do not save Graphics settings reset automatically every launch Presets change on their own without user input Changes are ignored even within the same session 3. Settings files are not created anywhere Checked: Documents AppData\Local AppData\Roaming No config files (fcsetup.ini or similar) are generated 4. Issue persists across multiple tests I have already tried ALL of the following: Full uninstall & reinstall of FC26 Repair via EA App Running EA App and game as Administrator Disabling / uninstalling all third-party antivirus (360 Total Security, Avast, etc.) Verified Windows Defender settings Confirmed Documents folder permissions (Full Control, correct owner) Disabled Controlled Folder Access Updated Windows completely Updated NVIDIA drivers Created and tested a new local Windows account Launched game on new account → same issue 5. Result Graphics settings continue to reset Game behaves inconsistently Game is not playable in a stable way --- 🧠 Expected Behavior FC26 should create its configuration folder in Documents Graphics and display settings should persist between sessions Game should not override user-selected settings --- 🧪 Actual Behavior No settings folder is created Settings are ignored or auto-changed Issue occurs even on a clean Windows user account --- 📌 Conclusion This appears to be a PC-specific FC26 bug, not a system issue. Multiple reinstall attempts and system-level troubleshooting have failed. The issue seems related to how FC26 handles configuration files on PC. --- 📎 Request Please: Acknowledge this as a known PC bug Advise if this is already being investigated Provide a workaround or confirm an upcoming patch. EA please fix this, my game is crashing like pushing ALT+F4 and no error message report. Platform steam (PC) My specification : Intel i7-14700K RTX 4060 32GB RAM 1TB SSD NVME M.2 I had already verify game installation more than 10 times, optimizing my storage, update the latest driver, uninstall & install GPU driver, uninstall the game, update my windows, move the installation folder to C drive, and make some command promt like sfc /scannow, chkdsk and many more. No solution at all !! While playing only one or two games (10-15 minutes) and crashing to windows with no error messages. PLEASE UPDATE AND FIX THIS BUG !!! Hi From fc26, we can belong to multiple club teams in pro club mode. In my club team, we cannnot edit shirt colour, team logo, player/AI training, club settings and so on. In different clib team, we can edit those. This can be really serious issue if this problem lasts longer. If you struggle to find clubs which have same problem, go find my team (technically my friend created the club team so my firend's team) by typing KOSEN SRR, then you should be able to find the club team. some terms can be different in the fc26 game because we are playing in Japanese and most of the language is in Japanese. sorry for inconvinience. thank you Gomeso94Views0likes0CommentsSubject : Missing Premium Pass Season Pass - FC 26 (Steam)

On PC, when launching the game, the Xbox controller works perfectly in menus. However, in the first match played after launching FC 26, the controller is not detected. The player cursor turns orange, indicating keyboard-only input. After restarting the game, the controller works perfectly in matches. This happens consistently on the first match only. When I start the game, firstly it takes a very long time to start, this has never happened before. Secondly it does not start and gives an error.
