EA Play 10-Hour Trial Limit Bypass for FC 26 (Post-Subscription Cancellation)
Dear Electronic Arts Support/Technical Team,
I am writing to report a significant issue/bug I have encountered with the EA Play service, which I believe is causing an unintended bypass of the 10-hour trial limit for the game FC 26.
Background:
- I recently purchased the Xbox Game Pass PC package, which included an EA Play membership.
- Using the included EA Play access, I downloaded and started playing the FC 26 10-Hour Trial version.
- Subsequently, I cancelled my Xbox Game Pass PC subscription (and thus my linked EA Play access) due to price increases.
The Issue:
Despite cancelling my subscription and exceeding the initial 10-hour trial limit, I am currently still able to launch and play the full version of FC 26 without any restrictions. The game is fully functional, and I am not being prompted to purchase it or being blocked due to the elapsed trial time. Crucially, I currently do not have an active EA Play or Xbox Game Pass PC subscription.
Technical Details:
- Game: FC 26
- Platform: PC (EA App)
- Account: [EA Account ID (ersoy1842)]
- Status: Able to play freely despite cancelled subscription and exceeding 10+ hours.
Economic Concern:
I feel it is important to bring this to your attention as this bug represents a significant financial vulnerability for Electronic Arts. If other users are also able to cancel their subscriptions and continue playing the game indefinitely without purchasing the full title or maintaining an active subscription, it could result in substantial lost revenue for the company. Immediate investigation and a corrective patch or update are necessary to ensure the integrity of your trial and subscription models.
Thank you for your time and attention to this urgent matter. I hope this information is helpful in resolving the issue quickly.
Sincerely,
Abdulkadir ERSOY
