FPS drops to below 10 after half time

The game is just frustrating at this point. I am winning the first half. Then during the half time break, fps drops to below 10, and it becomes unplayable. Nothing to do except for quitting - and thus increasing the number of disconnects. This happens every 3-4 games.

This needs to be fixed asap. 

I am playing on Steam
Laptop - Asus A15 - 3050 gpu - 16gb Ram.

    No official fix so far sadly. But I found a weird workaround. Just use a wired controller/joystick. I know it sounds weird, but the problem occurs when you're playing with a wireless controller. Plugging in the controller seems to fix the issue for me
