Futures Stars Youth League - Matchmaking Issues & Booster Problems

The matchmaking system for the Futures Stars Youth League is severely flawed. I’ve lost nearly 10 consecutive matches, and I’m consistently paired with opponents who have a significantly higher win rate and clear skill advantage. Is this matchmaking system intended to differ from the Weekly Tournament’s, or is there a technical error with it currently?

Additionally, there is a prevalent issue with players hiring boosters to play on their accounts in this mode. For legitimate players who compete on their own, this makes the mode unplayable—facing boosters repeatedly is extremely demoralizing and ruins the competitive experience.

I request the team to investigate and address both the matchmaking imbalance and the booster problem as soon as possible to restore a fair gaming environment for all players.

This year, the online matchmaking is disastrous! It's ruining the experience for many players, who are giving up online play for battles or other modes, and many have abandoned the game months ago...

We've been reporting these issues for a long time, but they don't seem to want to listen...

Many of the players I’m matched with are clearly at a streamer’s skill level. There’s no way a player with my win count should be paired against them—either the matchmaking system is faulty, or these players are using boosters.

In my opinion, streamers don't need to use weird stuff because this year's matchmaking clearly favors the top players!

In fact, they've never raised the issue because it suits them and they easily win against average players like me.

If the opposite were true, they would have made themselves heard!

If raising issues through regular channels yields no results, we should escalate our complaints to EA's senior management. Such critical bugs are harming players and the game itself, and in turn, undermining shareholders' interests.

When players feel they are matched against opponents of similar skill levels, they are more likely to purchase FC Points to upgrade their squads.

However, if they are left with absolutely no hope of winning, they will simply abandon the game—this directly reduces the game's revenue potential, and shareholders will certainly not tolerate such a situation.

I completely agree with what you say, but apparently they only listen to those with social media visibility! Regarding profits, I can give you my example as a passionate but non-competitive player.

This year, for the first time since I've been playing FUT, I abandoned online play in November.

Up until last year, I played between D6 and D5 and was quite satisfied. This year, I never managed to get beyond D8 because I was often matched with players from at least 4 or 5 divisions higher.

This problem has been reported many times on this forum, but we've never received a solution. As a result, I no longer purchase the paid SEASON PASSES (which are horrible anyway, whereas last year I bought them all!), also because by only playing battles, I don't need to buy packs, and the ones they give us are more than enough.

Another thing I'll do to save money is cancel my PSN subscription, which isn't necessary for battles anyway. Unless they release a patch to improve matchmaking by April or May, but I have serious doubts about that...

I imagine Sony won't be thrilled about this...

And finally, I'll never pre-order the game again.

They'll definitely start releasing information towards the end of the summer about improvements, but we all know exactly how that will end...

In any case, I'll wait to see some feedback before buying the game. If it's positive, great. Otherwise, I'll buy it when it's half price.

I’ve found the official complaint channels — file enough complaints, and EA will fix it. We won’t let devs toy with us or ruin the game. Fight back with the steps below!

    1. First: File a Standard EA Support Case (MANDATORY)

    • Link: https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/ (select FC26)
    • Choose: Live Chat/Call Back → Get Case Number + Advisor Name
    • Script: "I need to escalate FC26 matchmaking/booster issues to senior management. Provide Case Number and escalation approval within 48h."

    2. Escalate to EA Executives (Use your Case Number)

Core Executive Emails (SEND TO THESE FIRST)

    • CEO: [edit: email address removed] (highest priority)
    • CFO: [edit: email address removed] (emphasize shareholder/revenue harm)
    • CXO: [edit: email address removed] (player experience)
    • CC: [edit: email address removed] (for records)

    Short Email Subject

URGENT: FC26 Futures Stars Broken Matchmaking/Boosters – Fix Now

    3. External Pressure (No Reply in 48h?)

    4. Must-Have Evidence (Keep it simple)

    1. Consecutive loss screenshots (Futures Stars mode)
    2. Opponent profile (high win rate/booster signs)
    3. EA support chat/email records
    4. FC Points purchase history (if you’re a paying player)

    Key Note

Collective action wins: Share this guide on EA Forums/Reddit/Discord. The more complaints we file, the faster EA acts!

Hi, first of all, I have to compliment you on the accuracy of your information. But I wonder, do we really have to get to this point to hope to see an improvement? For several months now, I and many others have been reporting unplayable issues in online modes due to ridiculous matchmaking...

But the most annoying thing is that no one bothers to give us an answer; we're COMPLETELY ignored!

Every patch that comes out fixes or attempts to fix issues no one asked for (like curling shots...) or adds new hairstyles or new boots. My impression is that this system was introduced deliberately, perhaps also to exasperate players competing in online modes when they start losing match after match and see no progress.

Perhaps to push users to spend money to improve their team.

In all my years of playing FIFA/EA FC, I've never had an experience like this.

I'm truly very sad and disappointed!
