Game repeatedly crashes during gameplay and shows error CE-108255-1 every time

PS5 Slim Digital FC26 Bundle edition - The game freezes randomly (during matches within 1-15 mins in-game time) and then automatically closes with error CE-108255-1. I did the following troubleshoot...

✅ Fix Method (Delete Save Data)

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Saved Data and Game/App Settings
  3. Select Saved Data (PS5)
  4. Go to Console Storage
  5. Select Delete
  6. Find EA Sports FC 26
  7. Delete the saved data
  8. Restart your PS5
  9. Launch the game again.
