Huge FPS drop upon loading into matches & menus | PC

Having pretty huge FPS dips/drops upon loading into matches, ahead of kick offs and in menus like post match rewards etc, after a few seconds it then returns back to normal.
Normal menus are fine along with actual gameplay is fine and smooth, as-well as cutscenes of corners, free kicks and fouls etc.

Tried vsync on in-game, and vsync on in Nvdia control panel etc.

any possible fix or investigation into this please?

I’m having the exact same issues – on top of that, my controller just goes crazy for no reason. Don’t worry about it, it’s the same every year: EA makes money and leaves the players behind.

i have a partial solution that ive been doing when ever i get this issue. Which is like everyday. Basically once you start to get that low fps period. Just go back to menu and go into a practice arena game, and just keep on playing until the fps stabilises again. Once it does, it should be all good. But sometimes even that doesnt work and what i do is basically go back into ultimate team and then leave and just repeat the process (or just experiment with other gamemodes like kickoff). however usually for me 90% of the time. just doing a practice arena game usually fixes it.

Let me know if this works.

  • Dude, same! im also on windows 11 and i cant find absolutely anything on how to fix this issue, the game is basically unplayable. if anyone sees this and figured out how to fix this, please share.
