Issues with seasons and customise squads

I can no longer play regular season mode, when I go to click play match, I get the message ‘something went wrong with the game/app’ Proceeds to get me to accept and report and closes the game. 

I have since uninstalled then reinstalled the game and it’s just continuing where it left of. Is there a fix to this?
