Match is underway shows after cancelling matchmaking and then trying rematch

So today morning (india) I was at legendary 1 in h2h. I cancel matchmaking if it takes long and then try to rematchmake but today it was different when I cancelled and try to rematchmake for some reason it showed match is underway. I lost so many games today because of this issue now I am in legendary two after grinding for 3 long hours today why is this happening and there should be something ea can do to help me because all that was a time waste. I was about to reach legendary 1 again when the issue strikes for the 6th time and now I am back to legendary 2

Ea needs to do something about this
