Menu interaction/Clicking sound in game which makes gameplay slow

It could've been your rival the one with the cosmetic

I put the ice and fire skin on my best midfielder (Guijarro). Guess I'll replace it and see if the issue goes away. If true, it's one of the most ridiculous bugs that comes to mind.

Still happening to me. No slowdown, but it's very tedious.

This happens to me too but I don't have these fire / ice cosmetics. The clicking sounds only appears when I am approaching the other goal or the other way around. It slows down my players and I always lose matches when the clicking sound appears. I believe it could be some kind of hack from the other player.

I don't have any fire/ice cosmetics on my cards. This is clearly some kind of hack.

Since about two days though, I still hear the hack sometimes but it doesn't seem to work for the other player (slowing down mine). Today I have met about 3 players like that (all with several icon cards) but I managed to beat them now that their hack doesn't work anymore. Perhaps EA fixed it somehow in the latest update.

When I met someone with this hack before, it was impossible to win.

Whenever I use a card that has Lightning cosmetics, a loud sound effect plays every time the ball comes to that player or when the control switches to him. This sound causes noticeable lag and makes the gameplay feel heavier.
The issue happens even if my opponent is the one using cards with Lightning cosmetics — the sound still plays on my side, which shouldn’t happen.

Cześć mam to samo, dźwięk klikania z menu przeniósł się na rozgrywkę. Gra zdaje się nie nadążać za kontrolerem, a zawodnicy ruszają się ociężale. Zastanawiam się czy ta gra, którą kupiłem za 300zł to jest w wersji użytkowej, czy to zwyczajna wersja BETA. Problem jest zgłaszany przez dużo osób więc wypadałoby, żeby firma poczuła się do odpowiedzialności i naprawiła ten błąd, bo nie da się w to zupełnie grać (FC26 PC).
