PC version hard freezes within 1–2 minutes even after first update

I experience a severe issue with EA SPORTS FC 26 on PC. Regardless of the mode, the game hard freezes within 1–2 minutes. A loud noise plays and the PC stops responding entirely: even the physical power button does not work, and I must unplug the power cable.

My system: Windows 11 Home 23H2, Intel i5-11400, GTX 1660 Super (6 GB), 16 GB RAM, SSD with 291 GB free.

Actions tried (all failed): Repair in EA app, reinstall with profile deletion, -dx11 launch, run as admin, GPU driver update, Windows update. EA SPORTS FC 25 runs perfectly on the same PC.

After the first update the freeze still occurs, sometimes after a slightly longer period, but never resolved.

Please investigate and advise on any workaround or upcoming fix.
