Repeated controller disconnect bug, Request for compensation

Hi EA team,

I’m reporting an issue that has been happening to me for weeks and it’s now extremely frustrating.

There is a recurring bug where my controller suddenly disconnects during FC 26 matches and the game does not let me keep playing properly. This is not a problem with my controller or my console/PC — it only happens in FC 26. Because of this bug I have already lost more than 20 matches in Ultimate Team, many of them important ones (rivals/champs style competitive games).

What happens:

Controller suddenly disconnects / stops responding mid-match.
I can’t control my players even if I reconnect.
The opponent scores or I have to quit and it counts as a loss.
This has happened multiple times across different sessions.

At this point this is clearly a game issue, not user error. It’s very disappointing to lose progress, form and time because of something on the game’s side.

I’m requesting:

- That this bug gets acknowledged and fixed as soon as possible.

- A compensation for the matches I’ve lost due to this problem (coins, packs or an equivalent in-game compensation), because those losses were not my fault.

Please let me know if you need logs, account info or any extra detail to track this. But this bug has been around for too long and it’s directly affecting competitive play.

  • I have the exact same issue. Also the game randomly crashes. I've lost several Champs matches due to this. Also relegated in Rivals multiple times.
