Retro/classic kits disappears in manager live PC

Completed Juventus retro kit challenge. Was able to use the kit in manager live. However, kit immediately disappears from the save permanently after exiting to main menu. Starting a new save will make the kit available again but once it saves and exits, it will disappear. Tried it on the original save that I used for the challenge itself and it had the same issue. Not sure if this is true for other kits, only tried Juventus kit so far. Tried restarting game, playing matches in the save, customisation options and even on kickoff. Nothing works. 

To recreate bug: 
Unlock retro kit, check that retro kit is available during prematch customisation. At this point, kit will be available for every match until user saves and exits into main menu. Upon reentry into the same save, kit will no longer be available permanently for that save. Starting a new career will make the kit available again but will face the same issue upon saving and exiting.
