Severe input delay and heavy gameplay

 

I’m experiencing a serious gameplay/input delay problem in EA SPORTS FC 26 on PS5.

When I press X to pass, sometimes the input feels delayed or I have to press it again. Player switching also feels very slow and sometimes doesn’t respond immediately. My players sometimes continue running in the wrong direction even though I have already changed the input.

The whole game feels heavy and slow, almost like my controller is not responding correctly. I have experienced higher ping before, but the gameplay never felt like this. This feels different from normal high ping.

Please investigate whether this could be a server, gameplay, synchronization, or input-delay issue.

    Exactly same problem. low ping (20) but very high input delay. I have never experienced such input delay even with 80+ ping.

    No, and I’ve been having this problem for three weeks, but EA has been reckless about it. I paid $70 for the game, but I can’t even play it. Hhhh 😂
