Strikers Rise Evo Randomly cancelled

I recently submitted my Marc Guiu card into the new strikers rise evolution. I was looking at it yesterday on the evolutions hub and dropped my controller by accident. It pressed the cancel evolution button. I pressed the B button to get off of the menu but it had cancelled the evolution. I was looking forward to using this card as a Chelsea fan, especially as I loved his card last year. Is there anything that can be done about this at all?

Thought you had to hold the button on till it went to the end like when you activate or pause it, if not it's a silly thing to not have and I feel for you if you do this didn't happen 

Had the exact same happen to me on PlayStation 5. Frustrating.

Exact same too. Hope ea fix this and give us our evo back, pressing back on the controller shouldn't cancel. If you get any updates please let me know 

After the 3rd day had finished I clicked on the evo on my Xbox, it said would you like to cancel your evo so I pressed b on my controller to not confirm a choice and to take me back but then the evo cancelled and disappeared but I didn’t tell it to cancel so now the evo is gone and the player hasn’t been fully upgraded. I spent over 1000 coins on the player and now it’s stuck untradable and not fully evolved because the UI said B to go back but pressing B cancelled the evo. 

I submitted Marc Guiu into the strikers rise evolution the other day. I dropped my controller by accident, the menu to cancel the evolution came up. I pressed the B button on my controller to back out of the menu but unfortunately the evolution cancelled. Please if anyone working at EA can see this, fix this bug and give me my evolution back.

Happened to me last night too!! Thought I could pause it like other evo’s so I could use the player in game. When the cancel evo menu came up I instinctively press B to exit out of the menu but the evo was cancelled anyway, trying to contact ea to try and resolve this but no luck so far!! 

Update:- managed to speak to someone directly at ea via web chat, they have acknowledged that this is an issue however they are unable to continue the evolution on the player once it has been cancelled!! Very frustrating!!!

Same thing happened to me, here is a gameplay recording clearly showing me NOT clicking yes and backing out but still losing my evo. How is this acceptable?
