ps DO NOT choose to upgrade if you find yourself where I am if you have already bought the game - you will be charged again.
I’m stuck in the exact same situation. I’ve tried everything from deleting my game to changing my MAC address and it still thinks I’m using the trial version of the game.
Just tried again, after putting fifa25 on, signed in fine, then starting fifa 26 … in other words, scraping the barrel of what i can try my end … still ended up it thinking i haven’t yet bought the game. Was going to delete & download again, but you say that didn’t work as well , i am on xbox one, you are not & same problem. … but seemingly not everybody or there would be many on here & not just the few … baffling
I think it’s something to do with EA’s Licensing and the ability for my Xbox to designate which game it should boot. I’ve seen that there is a DLC with the title “Full Game Unlock” Which of course is not available for download. So until that unlock is in my game files I’ll be stuck with the trial version. And tbh it’s very confusing, don’t do this with NHL 26 Trial. I just wanted to try the game before I bought it and that’s when they intendedly screw you.
Have deleted/restarted xbox , then downloading now … again … so. You hadn’t already bought the game, like me ? … i had but at that screen, it thinks i haven’t … will see how this goes
