Severe and inconsistent input delay in Ultimate Team for players in Iraq – FC 27
Hello EA,
I am a player from Iraq using FC 27 on PS5, and I am experiencing severe and inconsistent input delay specifically in Ultimate Team.
My setup:
Platform: PS5
Internet connection: NBTEL Fiber
Connection type: Ethernet
In-game ping: usually around 30ms
Packet loss: 0%
Jitter: normal
The issue is not related to my controller. I tested three different controllers and experienced exactly the same problem.
The most important observation is that the gameplay quality changes significantly depending on the internet connection.
With NBTEL Fiber, I usually get around 30ms ping in Ultimate Team, but the gameplay has severe input delay. Several matches can feel extremely slow and unresponsive, then suddenly one match feels normal. After that, the delay returns again.
I also tested the same PS5 using an AsiaCell mobile hotspot. The ping was much higher, approximately 80-200ms, but the gameplay was noticeably more responsive and playable than with my 30ms NBTEL connection.
The Grounds also feels normal, while the problem is mainly noticeable in Ultimate Team matches.
Because the gameplay becomes better when using a completely different ISP despite having much higher ping, I suspect there may be an issue with routing or peering between Iraqi ISPs and the EA FC Game Data Centers.
Could EA please investigate whether there is a routing or Game Data Center issue affecting players connecting from Iraq, especially NBTEL users?
I can provide screenshots, connection tests, match information, or any other information required to investigate this issue.
Thank you.
