Community ManagerHello. The connection issue should be resolved.
As far as commentary, check your audio settings and make sure 5.1 or 7.1 are not selected unless you have a surround system supporting this. Commentary will try to play through the center speaker. If you don't have one, it won't be heard. You want your audio to be set to stereo in that case.
No there's a bug. It existed in NHL 23 and NHL 24.

Hey there. What exactly is happening with your commentary?
The same thing that has happened to my commentary for years with this game. After playing for a while, mostly in Be a Pro mode. The commentary stops working except right after a goal is scored. This issue then persists in every game mode and through restarts. It doesn't matter if I turn the volume down or reset to default settings. The commentary never returns. Which, since the commentary is largely the same year after year, is actually not a deal breaker for me. So congrats your cheapness makes this bug you've copied and pasted into multiple games more tolerable.
And I'm on Xbox so the bug is in both platforms
